Some perspective: My comfort level with guns and the Second Amendment

You know, it's all a matter of perspective, I guess. I'm in the hardware store buying rust remover for the driveway (sprinkler system, Florida thing) and looking at fishing crap. I see someone I know. We're chatting and I notice a bump under the right side of his shirt, so I say "Dude, you packing?" Instead of saying yes or no, he lifts up his polo shirt to show me the Glock 26 handgun he had in an IWS holster on his right hip. No biggie. I see it and say "nice." You know, showing approval, I have three Glocks myself. But I hear a gasp. I look down the aisle and see a woman clutching her forearms to her chest, with a look of panic on her face. And there it was. Perspective. Here I was, familiar with the man and completely comfortable around guns, while this woman didn't know him and was obviously scared by what she saw. I said "you're scaring the locals," to him jokingly. He turned to her and said "police ma'am." She exhaled, looked relieved, smiled and walked away." So I asked him why he was carrying inside the waistband (IWS) instead of outside. He said he left that holster at home. Still, my attitude with guns comes a great deal from my experience with them, my growing-up with them, and the fact I like the shooting sports. I'd like to think it also comes from my understanding that if the Second Amendment falls, it's only a matter of time before the rest of the Constitution falls with it. What we see with the Deep State conspiracies against the president, the left's labeling everything hate speech and racism for their own ends, and politicians like Joaquin Castro publishing the names of Trump supporters on the internet is TYRANNY, plain and simple. Now they want to exploit a situation they perpetuate in order to disarm Americans. (Yes, they perpetuate by blaming the gun rather than the shooter) You don't have to believe me. Mao said " All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party." There are more communist democrats than you realize. Venezuela banned private gun ownership in 2012. We see how well that worked out. So for anyone who says I might be paranoid and you don't believe in the Second Amendment, the last time someone needed more proof an enemy existed, it rolled into town with a Swastika on the side. You have to be insane to trust anyone in congress right now. (The same lawless people that destroyed Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Little Rock, etc. approve of human trafficking and protect heroin dealers, but that's another story entirely) But don't worry, I'll protect you when the government comes to take what's yours and give it to someone else. (hint: they're already using your money to give certain people free college and free health care...but not you) Then again, maybe I won't. That is also a matter of perspective.

I hate electronic devices!!!

So today is entitled "how to do it old-school," or in other words, it's too freaking complicated for my 55 year-old 'don't really give that much of a shit' attitude emanating from this Cro-Magnon (yes, ancient European Neanderthal) cranium of mine. So I dropped and broke yet another electronic device (me Hulk. Arghh. Hulk smash), this time my Samsung phone. Realizing I always hated it, it was too big, and that I like my work IPhone better, I bought the IPhone 8 (yeah I know, but I just can't wrap myself around paying $1300 for an X). Then I get in my truck, hit the Apple car play, and low-and-behold, there's nothing in my contacts even though I sat at the AT&T store for 35 minutes and endured the snotty Latina college kid that oozed "God you're such a old loser for not overspending on your phone" as she did her "magic" on it (which turned out to be nothing). So I "DuckDuckGo'd" how to transfer my contact list (Google is so, like, for grown-ups). This is what I got: "Go to "Settings" on your Samsung Android phone, select "Accounts", add account and sign in your Google Account, then enable "Sync Contacts" to backup all your contacts from Samsung Android phone to Google. Step 2. Navigate to your new iPhone 8, open Settings > Mail Contacts Calendars > Add Account." Or I could look at a YouTube video. Maybe it was the "navigate to" part where they lost me, or the signing into the Google account which is a password I haven't used in a couple years and forgot so that would be a shit-show, or the fact I don't want to download all the additional AT&T contact list crap I haven't ever used...so guess who's adding them back in one at a time...the old-fashioned way. As for Whatsapp, my translator app, the CCA fishing tournament app, and whatever else I put on the other phone, I'll figure that out in time. Probably as soon as I replace the IPad I dropped.

This is a troubling scam. By using the phrase "Any person who manufactures, causes to be manufactured, transports, ships, sells or disposes of any weapon," and the phrase "or an attempt or conspiracy to commit a crime," it leaves the door wide open for blanket bans, which results in law-abiding gun owners labeled as criminals and criminals who won't abide by the law free to do as they please. All the state has to do is claim the mere attempt to buy a gun is an indication of conspiracy to commit a crime and individual gun rights are over. It also says it bans "a firearm with a fixed magazine capacity or detachable magazine capable of holding up to 15 rounds." It doesn't say "over" 15 rounds. It says "up to." That means anything can be declared illegal. They also ban "assault" weapons without a clear definition, ban suppressors, and any self-defense spray like mace or pepper spray. It states that gun clubs must be organized as described by the National Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice, which was dissolved in 1996. This thing also bans folding knives that don't have any device that assists the opening, using the term "gravity knives," (say goodbye to that Buck knife you use at work or out hunting) as well as long thin knives by using the terms "dagger and stiletto," (which would include filet knives for you meat fishermen) plus folding knives with any sort of device that aids in their opening, calling all of them switchblades. It goes further to ban billy clubs, slingshots and private ownership of handcuffs. It also does not describe the measures the state would take to enforce the law. It's all taking on a combination of Orwell's 1984 and the movie "Minority Report" where people were jailed before they ever committed a crime.

That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year. No longer tax deductible 4.) When is the last time they had a conservative in the mayor's office? It was William Hale "Big Bill" Thompson, who left office in 1931. Wait! Now I know why I channeled "The Wire" when I saw the mayor. Chicago really is just like Baltimore (and Detroit, Atlanta, Washington DC, Seattle, San Francisco). Democrats have run those cities into the ground, yet after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth over murders, urban blight, drugs, homelessness, etc., they just elect another, then another. Mexican Immigration Law Definitely Not Quid Pro Quo With the United States.

I know! Let's use Mexico's immigration laws. Here's an explanation of it and what their constitution says about citizens and illegal aliens. Why do we want to give the world to people that don't want to give it to us? Globalists are idiots.

Mexico's Immigration Laws Mexico has stricter immigration laws than the United States of America. UNDER MEXICO'S IMMIGRATION LAW (GENERAL LAW ON POPULATION):
• Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:
- Foreigners are admitted into Mexico "according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress." (Article 32)
- Immigration officials must "ensure" that "immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents. (Article 34)
- Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets "the equilibrium of the national demographics," when foreigners are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when "they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy." (Article 37)
- The Secretary of Governance may "suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest." (Article 38)
• Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:
- Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)
- A National Population Registry keeps track of "every single individual who comprises the population of the country," and verifies each individual's identity. (Articles 85 and 86)
- A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).
• Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned: - Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)
- Foreigners who sign government documents "with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses" are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)
• Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons: - Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)
- Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)
- Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico – such as working with out a permit – can also be imprisoned.
• Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,
- "A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally." (Article 123)
- Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)
- Foreigners who "attempt against national sovereignty or security" will be deported. (Article 126) • Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:
- A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)
- Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132)

UNDER MEXICO'S CONSTITUTION
• The Mexican constitution expressly forbids non-citizens to participate in the country's political life. Non-citizens are forbidden to participate in demonstrations or express opinions in public about domestic politics. Article 9 states, "only citizens of the Republic may do so to take part in the political affairs of the country." Article 33 is unambiguous: "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country."
• The Mexican constitution denies fundamental property rights to foreigners. If foreigners wish to have certain property rights, they must renounce the protection of their own governments or risk confiscation. Foreigners are forbidden to own land in Mexico within 100 kilometers of land borders or within 50 kilometers of the coast. Article 27 states, "Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters. The State may grant the same right to foreigners, provided they agree before the Ministry of Foreign Relations to consider themselves as nationals in respect to such property, and bind themselves not to invoke the protection of their governments in matters relating thereto; under penalty, in case of noncompliance with this agreement, of forfeiture of the property acquired to the Nation. Under no circumstances may foreigners acquire direct ownership of lands or waters within a zone of one hundred kilometers along the frontiers and of fifty kilometers along the shores of the country." • The Mexican constitution denies equal employment rights to immigrants, even legal ones, in the public sector. "Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable. In time of peace no foreigner can serve in the Army nor in the police or public security forces." (Article 32)
• The Mexican constitution guarantees that immigrants will never be treated as real Mexican citizens, even if they are legally naturalized. Article 32 bans foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico from serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports: "In order to belong to the National Navy or the Air Force, and to discharge any office or commission, it is required to be a Mexican by birth. This same status is indispensable for captains, pilots, masters, engineers, mechanics, and in general, for all personnel of the crew of any vessel or airship protected by the Mexican merchant flag or insignia. It is also necessary to be Mexican by birth to discharge the position of captain of the port and all services of practique and airport commandant, as well as all functions of customs agent in the Republic."
• An immigrant who becomes a naturalized Mexican citizen can be stripped of his Mexican citizenship if he lives again in the country of his origin for more than five years, under Article 37. Mexican-born citizens risk no such loss.
• Foreign-born, naturalized Mexican citizens may not become federal lawmakers (Article 55), cabinet secretaries (Article 91) or supreme court justices (Article 95).
• The president of Mexico must be a Mexican citizen by birth AND his parents must also be Mexican-born citizens (Article 82), thus giving secondary status to Mexican-born citizens born of immigrants.
• The Mexican constitution singles out "undesirable aliens." Article 11 guarantees federal protection against "undesirable aliens resident in the country."
• The Mexican constitution provides the right of private individuals to make citizen's arrests. Article 16 states, "in cases of flagrante delicto, any person may arrest the offender and his accomplices, turning them over without delay to the nearest authorities." Therefore, the Mexican constitution appears to grant Mexican citizens the right to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to police for prosecution.
• The Mexican constitution states that foreigners may be expelled for any reason and without due process. According to Article 33, "the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action."

Christmas Rant of the Day

We all know "Baby it's cold Outside" is considered offensive to idiot sniveling snowflakes everywhere (while "my neck, my back, my pu**y and my crack" is not). Here are a few more: "White Christmas" just named racist. "Red Nosed" is considered racist. "Let it Snow" considered promoting drug abuse. "Silent Night" considered hate speech toward the hearing impaired. "Jingle Bells" considered white privilege. "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" hate speech against Muslims and Jews. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" considered offensive to other holidays. "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" offensive to LGBT's, "Merry Christmas Baby" considered offensive toward women, "Please Come Home for Christmas" offensive toward the homeless. We're left with "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer," because although deemed offensive to old people, was praised by PETA for the animal retribution against their abusive human masters, and Feliz Navidad, because Jose Feliciano is not only blind, but Hispanic (although there was some consternation regarding the fact he's a man). Besides, it's a great song. Happy YanaHamaKwansMas, ChrismaHanuKwanzika, or Festivus. Oh, and forget the Peanuts Christmas Special, it promotes Christianity. Or rather, do watch it, since it drives liberals mad.

The Problem with Florida Elections :Rant of the Day!

The problem with Florida elections (or any election) is old people, poor people, and immigrants vote for free shit regardless of how the state is doing or what the rest of us need. Yeah, retire and come here, or flee the so-called oppressive place you were from...and turn Florida into the places you came from. Yep. Real freaking smart. Fly that Venezuela flag there, a-hole. Leave the states with high taxes so you can vote for more taxes. Idiots. Then you have incompetent nitwits at polling places (after all, what sort of individual really volunteers for that nonsense), and in the so-called information age, here we are on Thursday still wondering WTF is the final word on the "Goober-natorial" and senate races. I've been so looking forward to the press and the liberals just shutting the F up about all this, and it just keeps going, and going and going. I mean, do i have to worry about that goof Gillum flushing the state down the crapper and Nelson stealing more oxygen from the stinkhole in DC, or are things okay? Do I have to consider my rights and buy up all the guns I can before they're outlawed, or am I good to go, just concentrate on ammo? Can I keep my cliche' and less-than-lucrative boat dealer retirement job, or will the economy tank, business and commercial taxes rise, and my job go the way of the Dodo? I hate politics, and politicians, and pollsters, and political commentators, and pseudo-intellectual liberals, and skimmer hat-wearing party-representing mega-nerds. Just f'ing shut up about it and tell me who in the hell won and who lost. Then let's have the winners claim victory and the losers accept defeat...maturely, with dignity and honor instead of the liberal's two years of sniveling cowardice I've endured since the 2016 elections. Arrghh.
